Artist Statement
This piece was inspired by a stretch of road I’ve driven often in Texas. One day, right as I passed by, a group of egrets lifted around a herd of cows, and their white wings caught the sunlight like little flickers across the pasture. It was one of those quick, beautiful moments that felt almost surreal to witness.
